Luck Me!!

Wow! That was a close one! I am sooo glad that I didn't get stuck marrying a girl from such a shameful family! The horror it would have been to have such a scandal related back to me. Tut-tut, one knows that the entire Countryside has their eyes on the Bennet family now that their wild trap of a daughter has run off with the neighborhood scallywag! Lady Catherine would have had my head had I been aqquainted with such people!

  1. Your vanity, sir, is over coming. I sit there and say that you dodge a bullet it in a way with the Bennets, yet you forget that you were humiliated because Elizabeth denied you, not only one but twice. You were to blind to see that she wanted nothing to do with you the first time, yet you still asked even though it was plain to see that she wanted nothing to do with you. In that, I find as humiliating as Lydia's situation.

  2. Ah But Bingley my good sir, we have something in common, do you not see it? Both of us were lucky to have made away from the Bennet family alive, me with Lizzy, and you with that Jane girl. You are much better off staying far away from that scandal filled family!

  3. Thank you Bingley for pointing out the obvious in this situation. Mr. Collins has no room to speak about that family who's money he is going to inherit. And besides Mr. colins, you wanted to join this family by marrying me and I refused so you didn't dodge any bullets I just took one for you. I really do think that you should just keep your mouth shut and quit boasting about everyhting that has nothing to do with you.

  4. You are so disrespectful Mr. Collins. Elizabeth is lucky she did not get stuck with a man like you. She is too good for your love.
