I don't know if i should be the one to inform Lady Catherine of the budding relationship between Darcy and Elizabeth. I don't want to have to break the news for Darcy, but what if she finds out I knew? She would have my head! Of Course I don't want to betray my friend, but I feel like I'm stuck in the middle of an issue entirely out of my control!
In situations such as these, my young Mr. Collins, I find it best to stay away from the conflict and act the part of an uninformed spectator. This is the way I manage to survive the countless schemes of my headstrong wife. No doubt a young newly wed as yourself has already discovered the Pain of married life.
ReplyDeleteDarcy should just tell her himself. He was there first hand and can answer ANY questions she may have.
ReplyDeleteI, being an outsider to the situation, believe that you too, are an outsider to the situation. I do not believe it is any of your business and you should leave it between Darcy, Lady Catherine, and my sister.
